About INCE

The Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA (INCE/USA) is a non-profit professional organization incorporated in Washington, DC. A primary purpose of the Institute is to promote engineering solutions to environmental noise problems. INCE/USA is a Member Society of the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering, an international consortium of organizations with interests in acoustics and noise control.

INCE/USA has two technical publications, Noise Control Engineering Journal and Noise/News International. The Institute also sponsors the NOISE-CON series of national conferences on noise control engineering, and the INTER-NOISE Congress when it is held in North America.

INCE/USA Members are professionals in the field of noise control engineering, and many offer consulting services in noise control. Any person interested in noise control may become an Associate of INCE/USA and receive the two technical publications mentioned above.
